Mailing Queen City Cruise tickets
3:44 PM
Those who have bought their tickets might have noted the result of a slight -- umm... -- miscommunication between yours truly, your Cruise web-wrangler and the Cruise ticket wrangler.
Until Thursday, the page that appears after tickets are ordered had said that tickets ordered after July 17 would be held at will-call. Our friendly ticket wrangler informed us, however, that tickets will continue to be mailed out for the next week or more.
In fact, it's likely that Cruise tickets will be sold out before it's necessary to cut off the mailing.
Your web-wrangler apologizes for the error and sends assurances from the ticket wrangler that you'll be getting a nifty ticket package in the post even if you haven't yet ordered your tickets. But don't wait too long. The Cruise is going to sell out once again this year. We're not yet sure when that will happen, but it could sneak up on us all very quickly. If you're negotiating with friends about who is and isn't going on the boat, it would be best to decide in the next several days. You'll have far more fun at the pre-boarding show if you have your tickets in hand instead of waiting in the standby line and counting heads, hoping for a spot on the boat.
