Squirrels win in varmint v. varmint poll

It's finally and officially over now. Squirrels -- showing that they are much like other Seattle teams -- needed an exciting finish to squeak through to an unconvincing and sloppy win in the final of Capitol Hill Seattle's poll. They faced off in the final against the web varmints at Slog who are every bit as hyperactive as the sidewalk varmints. Slog has vowed to challenge the results.
Meanwhile, our own much less popular and far more confusing polls for Seattle gay bars limps on, at least until the end of January, when we might put it out of its misery.
