Action Northwest connects, supports and advances the growth and effectiveness of multi issue, grassroots socio-economic justice organizations by providing them with a network of support. The group assists other organizations in recruiting and developing new activists for civic participation in socio/economic justice and human rights by providing quarterly training workshops, supplying volunteers, sponsoring events and giving out grants so each organization can better achieve their objectives.
ActionNW works with organizations interested in, Environment, Fighting Oppression, LGBTQ Issues, Patient Advocacy, Peace, Socio-Economic Justice, Women's Rights and Freedoms, or Worker's Rights.
Action NW officially joins the Cruise crew for the first time on the HomoAquatic tour, but also stepped in on the 2005 Flambuoyant! tour when a different group that had signed up to help failed to honor their commitment.
